Musical Theatre/Acting Teaching Assistant: Allie Heath
Allie Heath is a recent graduate from New Braunfels High School and is currently taking a gap year to further prepare herself for college and her career in the arts. She is originally from Puyallup, Washington and moved down to New Braunfels when she was 11. Even though it was tough at first, she later found her calling. In her freshman year of high school, she discovered her love for theatre and acting and hit the ground running to pursue her new-found passion. Throughout high school, she amassed many awards with the University Interscholastic League (U.I.L.) and is a 2-time Best Actress winner as well as a 2-time All Star Cast winner and 3-time Honorable Mention All Star Cast winner. She served as NBHS’s Drama Club President for 2 years and received the Excellency in Theatre Arts award from her school her freshman and senior years. In her sophomore year, she auditioned for NBPA’s “The Little Mermaid” and played Ursula in her first musical and has stuck with the company ever since. Her favorite roles would most definitely be the Magic Carpet in NBPA’s “Aladdin Jr.” and Bananas Shaughnessy in NBHS’s “House of Blue Leaves.” In the future, she hopes to get a BFA in Acting/Musical Theatre and to be either on Broadway or in films, or to be a theatre teacher. Besides theatre, she enjoys binge-watching “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” or “Ink Master,” painting and drawing, and traveling.
